studio policies & FAQ’s
-
Please stay home.
If you’re ill or showing cold/flu-like symptoms, do not attend. Cancel online and let us know that you are ill. Instructors may ask visibly ill clients to leave and will help you rebook. Please cancel your class ASAP online to avoid a penalty. -
Tell your instructor about any past or current injuries or conditions, including pregnancy and postpartum. We’re experienced and comfortable working with these scenarios and will offer safe options for you. If you are newly pregnant/postpartum or recovering from a serious injury or surgery, please obtain medical clearance from your doctor before attending. Thoroughly read class descriptions to make sure you’re prepared for the format you’re booking. If you’re brand new or unsure where to start, we recommend a private session first so we can introduce the equipment, safety, and flow at your pace before joining a group. If anything doesn’t feel right during class, stop and ask for a modification—never push through pain.
-
For safety and sanitation we require grip socks for all of our classes. Bring your own or purchase in-studio.
-
No perfume, strong scents, heavy oils, or lotions. Scents can trigger sensitivities and some products damage equipment upholstery.
-
Wear something comfortable that you can move freely in. Not too baggy.
Pilates involves a lot of leg lifts. If you wear loose shorts, add a base layer (compression shorts or liner) so you’re covered in every position.
Avoid sharp/snagging items (metal hair clips, long necklaces, large rings, zippers/clasps that contact pads). These can interfere with movement and damage equipment.
-

If you will be 15+ minutes late, please cancel instead. For safety and class flow, we cannot admit anyone more than 15 minutes after start time. Instructors may deny entry if the warm-up was missed.
-

Using the waitlist means you may be automatically added to class up to 2 hours before start time. If you’re added and don’t attend, the cancellation policy applies. If you no longer want a spot, remove yourself from the waitlist in your Momence account.
Inside 2 hours of class: when a spot opens, Momence will text everyone on the waitlist and the first person to accept within 30 minutes is booked. (No visible positions; order doesn’t matter.) After the 2-hour cut-off, no one is contacted automatically. If there’s no mobile number on file, you’ll receive an email instead.
Pro tips:
Enable Momence notifications and keep your phone number and email up to date.
Only waitlist classes you can actually attend. If plans change, remove yourself so the next person can jump in.
-
If a storm, power outage, or road conditions (snow/ice/wind) make travel unsafe:
Studio cancellations: We’ll notify via Momence (app/email/text). You will not be charged, and your credit will be returned.
Your safety call: If you personally feel unsafe, cancel in Momence ASAP and message us; we’ll review case-by-case and our leniency regarding the policy will err on the side of safety.
If class is held and you don’t cancel: Standard cancellation policy may apply.
-
A courtesy reminder will be sent out 48 hours before your class.
How to cancel: Cancel in Momence (app or web) so the waitlist can fill your spot.
Late cancel (≤24 hours): Forfeits the class credit.
Repeated late cancels:3 within 30 days → $50 fee charged to card on file.
Class swaps: Same-day swaps may be possible but aren’t guaranteed; within 24 hours a credit may be required.
No-show: Forfeits the class credit and incurs a $10 fee.
Notes: Emergencies happen—please still cancel in Momence first so the waitlist can run. Habitual “placeholder booking” (overbooking and canceling late) may affect booking privileges.

When purchasing a recurring subscription, please note the commitment duration shown at checkout.
Recurring Memberships are charged at the 1st of every month. If you join mid-month a pro-rated amount will be charged.
Early Termination Fee (ETF) if canceled before fulfilling the required renewals:
ETF = $100 + total price break you received compared to our 10-pack rate.
How it’s calculated: For each month used, we compare what you paid to what the equivalent classes would have cost at the 10-pack rate. The difference (your discount) is summed and added to the $100 base ETF.
Example: If your effective per-class price is $22 and the 10-pack rate is $25 (a $3 discount), and you used 20 classes, discount total = $60 → ETF = $100 + $60 = $160.
After you fulfill the commitment, subscriptions remain recurring until you cancel per our standard notice policy in Momence.
-
Package expiration: Unless otherwise noted, packages expire 90 days from first use. Discounted plans/passes may have shorter expirations and are not extendable.
All sales final: No refunds. We may approve a one-time extension/transfer on a case-by-case basis (not guaranteed).
