Our Freeland Studio is Moving!

Dear Pilates Collective Community,

We wanted to share an important update with you. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to relocate our studio from our current space in Freeland to a nearby location. This choice was not made lightly, but it is one we believe is necessary to ensure we can continue serving this wonderful community.

Operating a small business, especially in a unique place like Whidbey Island, comes with its challenges. The rising rent at our current location has simply become unsustainable. We LOVE the light-filled space we created—it’s beautiful and holds so much of our heart—but staying there is no longer a viable option for us.

The new location will be close by, with plenty of parking, and we’re excited to show it to you soon. To help with the transition, we’ll be hosting a "moving sale" on August 24, where you’ll find small props, equipment, retail fixtures, and remaining inventory available for purchase. Be sure to mark your calendars!

WHAT IT MEANS LOGISTICALLY:

New Space, Same Vibe: We’re working hard to recreate the warm, welcoming atmosphere you’ve come to expect, so it still feels like home when you walk through the door.

Same Great Classes: You’ll still enjoy the same high-quality classes you love, just in a new space.

Comfort First: Initially, we’ll offer only 6 spots per class to ensure everyone feels comfortable. If space allows, we’ll add a 7th spot.

Amenities You Need: Don’t fret! The new location features bathrooms and plenty of shaded parking.

Seamless Transition: We’re planning the move carefully to minimize disruptions, so you can continue your practice without missing a beat!

Stay Informed: We’ll keep you updated on when classes will start in the new space, so you’re always in the loop.

Explore Beforehand: We’ll host an open house so you can explore the new space, ask questions, and get comfortable before classes officially begin.

We believe in the importance of the service we provide and are committed to continuing our work in the community. Please understand that any changes to our schedule, location, or other aspects of our business are made with the intention of ensuring we can keep doing what we do best.

As we see beloved businesses around us announcing their closures, it's a stark reminder that nothing in business is guaranteed and that success requires constant effort and dedication. We are committed to continuing, but we know this journey will involve more tough choices, challenges, and change.

With gratitude and hope,

Melody and Nicole
